Funding Priorities
A minimum of 25 percent of the net income from the Komen NC Triad Affiliate Race supports the national Susan G. Komen for the Cure® Grant Program which funds groundbreaking breast cancer research, meritorious awards, and educational and scientific conferences around the world.
Up to 75 percent of the net income from the Komen NC Triad Affiliate Race stays in our local 11-county community to fund breast health education, breast cancer screening and treatment projects.

Successful applications will have measurable objectives, consistent with the Komen Promise: To save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find the cures.
