Current Grant Recipients

Did you know that our Race is our largest fundraiser? Did you know that money raised goes towards granting dollars to all 11 counties we serve so they can offer screenings, treatment support and breast health education? YES…that very special day where tears, laughter, partnerships, energy and hope are displayed...extends far beyond RACE day! Together we touch lives every day until the next RACE by helping 1,000’s of women and men in our local communities. HELP us help others by registering for the RACE; send in a donation if you can’t attend; purchase a TULIP for $15 in memory or honor of a survivor; ask your family, friends and colleagues for a donation. Remember, the Power of the Promise is only as strong as the Power of Partnerships…partner with us and make a difference.

Thanks to our 2011 Race Participants and Donors, we were able to fund $585,000.00 in local community grants!  A grant was awarded in each of our 11 counties!!  Click here for a complete listing of each Grant that we granted because of you!  You made a difference in the lives of women and men in our communities.

These 2011-2012 projects have been selected by our independent Grant Review Panel as those that will have the greatest impact in serving uninsured or underinsured women in our service area.  Please note that the NC Triad Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® is not a direct service provider.
