The Promise of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® is to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find the cures.  Komen Affiliates represent one of the nation's largest private funding sources for breast health and breast cancer screening, education, and treatment support programs.

The North Carolina Triad Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® offers annual grants for innovative projects in the areas of breast health and breast cancer education, screening, or treatment support.  These funds are intended to provide services not otherwise available to the medically under-served populations of the North Carolina Triad region.   Our Affiliate covers the following counties --- Alamance, Davidson, Davie, Forsyth, Guilford, Randolph, Rockingham, Stokes, Surry, Wilkes, and Yadkin.  Please note all funding must be utilized within our service area.

The Komen NC Triad Affiliate Board of Directors has established Grant Priorities based on the stated needs in the 2011 Komen NC Triad Affiliate Community Profile for our 11-county service area.  We especially welcome grant proposals addressing these priorities.
