Massage Envy, the nation's leading therapeutic massge franchise, is partnering with Susan G. Komen for "Massage for the Cure." The daylong event will be held Tuesday, September 14, in Massage Envy clinics throughout North Carolina.
Massage Envy will offer a one-hour therapeutic massage at any of their 25 locations throughout the state. The participating clinics in the North Carolina Triad Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure's service area are located in Greensboro, High Point, and Winston-Salem.
This one day fundraiser will offer Massage Envy members and guests one hour therapeutic massage sessions for $49.00, with $15.00 from each massage (along with any additional donations received) being donated directly to our local Affiliate to be used for breast cancer education, screening and treatment programs.
The one-day event will run from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm on Tuesday, September 14, and appointments are being accepted beginning August 14. Availability is limited, so it is advised to book early. To reach any Massage Envy clinic in North Carolina, simply Click Here or call 800-944-ENVY (3689).

Don't want to commit because you are unsure of what is involved with being a Board Committee Volunteer or what a Race Committee Volunteer does? Well, join us for a Volunteer Open House on Tuesday, September 21, 2010, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the local Komen NC Triad Affiliate Office located at 1106 Burke Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27101. We will have information on all types of volunteer opportunities to include Race, special events, administrative, and educational outreach. Join us for light refreshments, meet the Affiliate staff and dedicated volunteers on board now, and learn what your local NC Triad Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® is all about!

Komen for the Cure's eleven-county service area is made up of: Alamance, Davidson, Davie, Forsyth, Guilford, Randolph, Rockingham, Stokes, Surry, Wilkes, and Yadkin Counties.
