Thank you to the members of Battalion C of the Burlington Fire Department for their support in our mission! Proceeds from their pink T-shirt sales (2,033 shirts sold!) were presented to both the NC Triad Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® and Alamance Regional Medical Center with our Affiliate receiving a check in the amount of $5,730.89.
Garwood Custom Cycles
Thank you to Garwood Custom Cycles of Lexington, N.C., for the one-of-a-kind breast cancer motorcycle! The bike was designed and built by Garwood Custom Cycles, and when it is sold, 100% of the proceeds will go to the Komen NC Triad Affiliate. They are also selling "It's all about the Pink" T-shirts with proceeds going to our Affiliate. WXII broadcasted the unveiling of this motorcycle live on their morning show today (3/16/11). A huge thank you to Garwood Custom Cycles and all our volunteers and neighbors that joined us for the unveiling. A special thank you to WXII for being a part of this event.
